Our work and services always reflect our vision: to make SLT services accessible by all.

This is why we don’t have a top-down approach to our services, nor do we have a private centre where we are based. Instead we work with the community, in the community.

Our work and services always reflect our vision: to make SLT services accessible by all.

This is why we don’t have a top-down approach to our services, nor do we have a private centre where we are based. Instead we work with the community, in the community.

We have worked hard over the years to develop respectful and valuable partnerships with government infrastructures, such as schools, assessment centres and hospitals. This enables us to work from the bottom up – work with local professionals to identify the gap and plan on how we fill it, and as a result develop a model of service that can be replicated and adapted to other public settings.

At the foundation of our services is developing strong partnerships with different health and education professionals, so that through their knowledge and skills we can work together to provide a high quality SLT service – and gain the community’s trust in what we do and offer.

We have found this methodology works best for what we’re trying to do: provide a quality and accessible service, collate data to evidence the need and lobby for the recognition of SLT as a profession.

Over the past 2 years we have started developing partnerships with other organisations, and as a result, our services are growing and expanding and we are becoming specialist in the field of Inclusive Education and Communication Disability. We provide consultancy services to enhance other organisations’ programmes for people with disabilities.
